General chit-chat is welcome, post your new years resolutions, just fill the thread with stuff. This will be one of the first "free format" threads on the site, hoping to get the dispersed lurkers into a single bread once in a while. I'll announce these in big red text on the whole site whenever they happen to see how they'll work out.

Also, creative thread for the end of year / new year. Draw thread, draw requests, etc. Draw your husbando. I posted this in /ck/ as any related stuff on the rest of the site is fair game. Hopefully it will catch on.

I should have started this a few days ago to get a head start, but we could just run it for a little while after January 1st anyway.

What is the point of a fur board? Do we have to really split threads between western and eastern art, if we are so small?

I personally feel that, for the most part, that kemo is of a better quality than fur. However I don't really feel that we should be getting into splitting say, a tiger thread, into fur and kemo.

What's your opinion?

I wasn't sure if there was some type of interest in a separate fur board that perhaps wasn't being voiced much. So I tested it out (seems there wasn't, not yet at least).

From what I know I think this might be the only independent small site with a kemono board at the moment, which is pretty neat. Anything even vaguely kemono in some way could end up on it, I guess. The idea of creating a /fur/ was mostly more because a large segment of anthros seemed left out completely at the moment by the other board's theme.

Hi guys, we discussed on /mg the possibility of making a vn before.
Let's use this thread to talk about it and see if it's still possible.

Thing we agreed:
1) This should not be e big project, really few content but good quality
2) Characters: four in total, but I can't honestly remember who won the pool, something like a shy bat, a build sportive tiger, and maybe a shark and a wolf?
3) Basic plot: 5 friends meet up after a year in a pub, the game is based on a night and the morning after, every character has a problem, feelz etc etc. I remember some anon talking about a character having trouble in university or some stuff.

I don't remember anything much, but the project looked interesting.

I can't draw or write, but if we have resources I can make a good engine for the vn that is more customizable and can run on mobile too.

Its true the project in this thread seems to have went quiet 3 months ago (actually, that could be said for a lot of things in /ck/). Also I know how you feel about the not much people thing (I did the /mg/ RPG stuff for a while last year, which is technically not yet axed, just in some random state of undead).

A few of the people that tried to get this going are most likely still lurking the site at least, it could be rebooted on a smaller scale among anons.

The thing I'm organizing is tangentially related at least, but the details are still being worked out though.

I'm the one who created the topic and proposed the game in origin. I'm still here, however I've been pretty busy the last months.

During my free time I started working on one of my small project that includes a framework for dialogs, if people here is interested in doing the prototype I'm in!
With this kinda of thing having a fast prototype is always a good thing, it helps to figure out pro and cons of the game and improve it.

for me this are the things we have to do:
>find name of the project
>define the characters (almost done)
>get a basic setup of the story
>make a short story (it hasn't to be perfect) based on the setup (like the first morenatsu demo for example)
>have the basic assets for the characters (even this stuff don't have to be done at 100%, rough drawing not fully colored can be good too)

I can put all these things up and make a small prototype demo, other interesting things to have would be:
>sounds, bgm
>backgrounds (just references would be good)
>title screen ideas

Thanks. OpenGL isn't that hard to learn; for me, it was wrapping vertex shit into easy to use C++ classes and shaders.

It's a buggy mess though, but none of that is caused by OpenGL, just terrible me I hope
